Syllabus Description:

This advanced prose writing workshop will focus on the creative process: inspiration, collaboration, revision. In addition to producing and revising one longer story, memoir, or personal essay, you will be collaborating with students in Professor Claire Cowie’s class, ART 457, Handmade Books.  Do NOT worry—no previous art experience is necessary. However, you will be asked to try your hand at making something visual, in addition to collaborating with an art student to produce a book. And the artists will be asked to write too!
