DEIC Participants - Increasing Access to Digital Storytelling Workshop

Submitted by Jacob Dwaine Huebsch on April 17, 2019 - 3:46pm
When: Tuesday, April 23rd from 1:00-2:00
Where: Padelford Grad Lounge

Storytelling is a tool for preserving memory, writing history, learning, entertaining, and organizing one’s expression of experience and identity. Recently, “Digital-Storytelling” has become a popular concept in composition, but it can be hard for teachers to make the initial jump required to teach it in a composition class.

Max Lane and TJ Walker have collected and created some resources to ease this process and they will present them in a workshop in the grad lounge on Tuesday, April 23rd from 1-2pm (pizza will be provided!) These resources will also be uploaded to the EWP archive.
RSVP to tjwalker@uw.edu so that they can plan food accordingly.
