2020 UWHS Norming Training

Welcome to the ENGL training website! 

Training Details: 

Friday, January 17, 2020
9 AM to 1:30

UW Seattle Campus.  Miller Hall, Room 104

Portfolio preparation time starting at 8 am will be available for those who would like to use this (optional) time to prepare the sample portfolio you’ll have received ahead of time.

Check-in starts at 8:30 am.

Map and Parking

Free parking will be provided in the Central Parking Garage, which can be accessed from Gate # 1 (located at 15th Avenue NE and NE 41st Street). A full campus map can be viewed here: http://www.washington.edu/maps/.

What to Bring

Please bring a copy of the textbook with you to the training. You may also want to bring a laptop to use during the training. Additionally, be sure that you have your UW NetID and password with you so as to access the WiFi network. If you don’t have your own UW NetID, login information will be provided at the training.

Additional Information

We will provide a $100 honorarium as well as four clock hours for attending.  Paperwork will be provided at the training.  Box lunches will also be provided. 

Lastly, UWHS can reimburse your school/district the cost of your substitute teacher to attend this training. Find more information and the form to complete here
