Welcome to Undergraduate Advising for Comparative Literature, Cinema & Media Studies, Creative Writing, and English
Visit the Undergraduate Programs section for instructions on how to declare the English major or minor and degree requirements. Many common questions are answered in our Undergraduate FAQ.
Undergraduate Advising is available to help with academic and career planning, preparation for graduate school, and other questions and concerns of undergraduates, alumni, and prospective undergraduate and graduate students. We also work with prospective and certificated teachers interested in the English Language Arts teaching endorsement for secondary education. We're involved in the UW ArtsLink and UW WordLink, and we administer internships and the English Study Abroad Programs, We provide a home for Bricolage, the UW's undergraduate literary and art magazine, and AU, the UW's speculative fiction journal. We also work with the Honors Society students in Sigma Tau Delta.
