Syllabus Description:

This quarter we’ll do what English majors do best: create ways of handling complex conundrums through questioning, collaboration, and curiosity. And the foremost conundrum we’ll be dealing with is coming up with multiple ways we can not only demonstrate, but actively excite organizations about the ways each of us have picked us skills, habits of mind, and perspectives  that can support and build organizations. This quarter, we’ll read selected cases for the worth of the humanities in a STEM world, along with Robin Wall Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass.

We’ll crowdsource from our collective experiences how to translate your English major writing skills into different modalities and distill for yourself what is it about not only writing papers and readings lots, but learning alongside other people, that shapes the guiding principles you will take into your public life and future careers. By the end of the quarter, you will have created an e-portfolio to showcase your work, skills, and mindset beyond the resume.

Please note that I do not get addcodes until the first week of the quarter.
