I am an animation and comics scholar. I am currently working on a manuscript based on my dissertation on Yugoslavia's animation industry, commonly known as the Zagreb School of Animation. I am also working on a lengthy study of Jules Feiffer, "America's first literary cartoonist." I write frequently about comics and conduct interviews with writers and artists for Los Angeles Review of Books, The Millions, and Full Stop.
