Syllabus Description (from Canvas):

The Honors Program in English culminates in a research-based thesis project that contributes to current conversations about literature and culture.   This course will guide and support you through the process of producing your thesis project, whether it takes the form of a traditional scholarly essay, a multimedia project, or a website, podcast, or documentary.  Together we will work through the following steps: defining a thesis topic; creating a research plan; compiling an annotated bibliography; and developing drafts.  We will explore library resources for research, practice time-management strategies, and work on giving and receiving constructive feedback.  The goal of this class is for everyone to produce a thesis project that they are proud of.
