Please see below for a list of all assignments with deadlines upcoming for the course.  All major deadlines are currently posted, but a few more informal assignments for the third project sequence are still under development and will be posted in the first couple weeks of the quarter.

Please note that, with the exception of peer conferences (which take place on three Fridays during the quarter, and which you will need to prepare for), all assignments in this class are due on either Wednesday or Saturday at 5pm Pacific Standard Time. I designed this timeline for ease and efficiency, so you would not struggle to keep track of deadlines. However, please do not infer that you will only be doing work two days a week. To do well in this class, you will need to read, reflect, respond, or write every day.

Catalog Description:
Develops critical literacy in the diffuse but interlocking disciplines of the natural sciences. Through analysis and composition of various texts, students become authoritative participants in scientific discourse while also becoming familiar with ways that Western values are embedded and centered (often invisibly) in the sciences and its related institutions. Offered: AWSpS.
