Introduction to Rhetoric: Disability Rhetoric

Introduces rhetorical theory from the classical period to the present, including an overview of core issues, vocabulary, and concepts in rhetorical theory with a focus on rhetorical theory as understood through a disability studies lens, methods for studying disability rhetoric, and a consideration of the social importance of studying rhetoric through disability in the contemporary moment. Course overlaps with: COM 231.
