On Friday, May 10th, Lydia Heberling will be facilitating a discussion titled: "To Teach or Not To Teach Indigenous Lit" for the Teacher Talk Series.

Below is a description of this teacher talk's focus:
This talk invites collaborative discussion around the benefits and pitfalls of teaching Indigenous literary and cultural studies. Our focus will be on how to incorporate without tokenizing Indigenous texts and theories into our courses using a practice I call "literary listening."
