This December, Ohio University Press is publishing A Field Guide to the Poetry of Theodore Roethke, edited by William Barillas. This volume is the first to reconsider Roethke’s work in terms of the expanded critical approaches to literature that have emerged since his death. Theodore Roethke (1908 - 1963) taught at the University of Washington from 1947 until his death in 1963.
