Submitted by Jacob Dwaine Huebsch on November 25, 2020 - 10:50am

The Expository Writing Program and Critical Classrooms invites you to join Teacher Talk, Friday, December 4th from 11:00-12:15 titled: "Accessibility in the Remote Classroom: Building Universal Course Materials".

As part of EWP’s Critical Classroom Series, Teacher Talk is a pedagogy conversation series that provides a space for graduate instructors, faculty, and staff to share innovative and equitable practices, discuss praxis, and build a supportive teaching community.

This Teacher Talk will be an open discussion facilitated by guest speaker Stephen Eyman of the English department. We will be discussing our experiences transitioning to emergency remote teaching, and the materials we developed to connect with our students online. What has been our experience so far? What challenges have we faced in adapting our teaching? What are some ways we can think about universal accessibility with our course materials? What are our successes? Join in to share and learn from each other.
