Faculty Publish New Books

Two English Department faculty have recently published important new books of cultural criticism.

David Bosworth's Conscientious Thinking: Making Sense in an Age of Idiot Savants (University of Georgia Press) offers forthright commentary on the flagrant failure of our nation’s meritocracy to manage our affairs effectively.

Eva Cherniavksy's Neocitizenship: Political Culture After Democracy (New York University Press) explores how the constellation of political and economic forces of neoliberalism have assailed and arguably dismantled the institutions of modern democratic governance in the U.S.
