The Expository Writing Program invites proposals for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Collaboration Grants for 2018-2019. We plan to fund collaborative group projects that focus on developing composition curriculum, teacher resources, and/or research initiatives that center issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the writing classroom.
All instructors in EWP/IWP and all UWHS teachers are eligible to apply. Award amounts will range between $100-$350 and can be used for food during planning meetings, materials to support work, gift cards for organizers or workshop leaders, funding for research, refreshments at public events, and the like.
Application Deadline: Monday, November 30, 2018 by 11:59 p.m. Send proposals to Candice Rai at crai@uw.edu and Jacob Huebsch at jhuebsch@uw.edu. Decisions will be announced by December 14, 2018.
