The further investigation of the graphotactics of Old English manuscripts, extending the work described in this site chiefly in earlier prose texts and such documents or charters. Also the coherent geometry of early Insular art -- a feature found widely in Anglo Saxon verse texts, Irish sculptured crosses ("Celtic crosses"), and some fine metalwork, particularly elaborate brooches.
