Syllabus Description:

English 298, linked to POL S 202, is a small (21 students max) writing course that will explore some of the topics, readings, and concepts from POL S 202 through a series of writing assignments. A collaborative, skills-based course, English 198 will engage students in research, drafting, and peer-editing in the interest of enhancing their writing. The content of the course will cover such topics as the United States Constitution, political parties and their history, and the separation of powers.

Catalog Description: 
Expository writing based on materials presented in a specified social science course. Assignments include drafts of papers to be submitted in the specified course, and other pieces of analytical prose. Concurrent registration in the specified course required. Offered: AWSpS.
