My research article explores how the the post-World War II Italian films, specifically, 𝘉𝘪𝘤𝘺𝘤𝘭𝘦 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘴, 𝘜𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘰 𝘋., 𝘔𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘔𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘯, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘖𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘰𝘢𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘎𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺, 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘡𝘦𝘳𝘰, all of which Gabriel Garcia Marquez highly rated, influenced his novel 𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘏𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦. It analyzes each film individually, while also seeking to uncover the overarching connections between the novel and the films.
