The Wheel, and a methodology essay titled, "Extracting the Multi-Ethnic from Existentialism,” both focus on finding oneself through a reclamation of art and apply traditionally Western existentialist theory to the spaces occupied by mixed-raced people, diasporic populations, and those generally separated from their roots under Western imperialism. I examine the solidarity between all peoples displaced from their art and how different cultural stories share similar origins. The narrative story is a mix of fiction and nonfiction similar to Kurt Vonnegut's novel, Bluebeard, where fictional characters discuss real artists and events. I use this mix of genre to educate readers while removing them from our world of presuppositions that influence how we approach ethnic topics and works
